Environment for Learning to Program

Intelligent programming environment + Auto Grading & Formative Feedback + Collaborative enrivonment between students, peers and tutors Learning to program is difficult. The Environment for Learning to Program (ELP) makes programming easier by providing a web-based environment for beginner students. ELP supports:
  • Web based programming exercises
  • 'Fill in the blanks' style programming exercises
  • Automated static analysis and testing of programs
  • Student and tutor annotation of programming exercises

Try out some ELP Demonstrations, all you need is Java 5 and .NET v1.1 (only required for C# exercises). Alternatively, find out more about ELP or download the ELP Teacher Workshop notes here.
